自美国前心理学会主席马丁·塞里格曼博士于1998年正式提出积极心理学以来,已经过去20年,其作为一种思潮,对不少学科的研究取向与研究范式都产生了一定影响。品格优势理论,作为整个积极心理学体系基础,受到了理论界和实践界极大的关注。 本书由武汉大学社会学系段文杰博士基于过去8年关于此主题的研究经验撰写而成。基于“兼顾文化共通性与特殊性”的研究范式,对品格优势理论的一系列关键问题(如概念特异性、文化适应性、结构稳定性等)进行了科学回应与实证检验,并对其在不同情境下的功能(如抵御压力、增加生活满意度、提升适应性等)进行研究。本书的最大特色在于构建“跨文化一致性理论与测量”,通过建立跨文化的等价性,破解不同国家地区或文化中的研究者很难在同一平台进行对话这一问题,为中国哲学社会科学“走出去”战略,提升中国学术话语权提供路径。
