本书旨在系统梳理几年来国际法治的新发展,尤其是近两年来的新动向,着重阐述中国在国际法治的各个重要领域所表明的理念、坚持的原则与立场和采取的具体行动,系统地展示中国对促进国际法治作出的重要贡献,从而用大量和充分的事实向国际社会表明:中国不仅一贯诚信地遵守国际法律规则,而且一直积极参与国际法律规则的制定和各种国际机制的建构与运行以及其他具体的国际法治行动。
The Annual Report is collectively projected and written by researchers of the Wuhan University Institute of International Law. It aims at summarizing comprehensively the latest developments in the international rule of law, especially the new trends in the last year, and focusing on the ideas China advocates, the principles China maintains, the actions China takes and the significant contributions China makes in specific areas of it. The Report will increase the transparency of China’s international rule of law practice, and will urge countries around the world and all social circles to make an objective assessment of China’s contributions in promoting the international rule of law.
The Report consists of four parts. The First Part describes the practice of China in respect of the rule of law and relations among states, Part Two focuses on the practice of China in respect of the rule of law and international economic relations, the Third Part mainly explores China’s engagement in the rule of law and international civil and commercial affairs, and the Forth Part systematically introduces the history and status quo of teaching and dissemination of international law in China.
