本书以情绪唤起和认知加工的整合关系解释语篇情绪的具体意义,形成情绪理解的整合观;在对情绪过程分析的基础上,区分了“事件认知—情绪”关系、“情绪—后果行为”关系、“情绪—认知色彩”关系、情绪对比关系,形成了统一的分析框架,以此框架对情绪语篇的在线理解和连贯关系进行了分门别类的有效分析;指出语篇情绪理解过程中必然包含概念整合过程,这一概念整合使情绪得以体验化理解,并通过认知和情绪的交互作用实现理解的完形化;从情绪心理空间的视角解释了语篇连贯,揭示了情绪语篇的隐性、深层次、高阶和整合的独立连贯系统。
