本书利用中国城乡劳动力流动调查2008~2010年的数据,区分受雇就业与自营就业,重点考察农民工工作转换对其就业质量的影响,同时考察不同的工作转换模式对就业质量的影响差异,最后从职业流动和人力资本回报角度来诠释工作转换无法提升农民工就业质量的原因。研究发现,工作转换对农民工就业质量提升的作用非常有限,要真正提升农民工就业质量,需要改变农民工就业环境,使农民工实现稳定就业、适度流动。
