家长参与子女教育是教育领域的重要议题。本书以实证数据为基础,由表及里,从家长参与子女教育的行为、信念和参与脉络三个层面进行描述、分析。研究发现,家长大量参与子女教育的行为分布在家庭、学校和社会三个场域,但并非平均分布。较之学校的参与,家长在家庭和社会场域参与更多。家长对自我家庭角色的信念、与学校教师沟通的信念、对课外教育的信念以及子女未来职业信念表现出了当地的文化生态和个人境遇脉络的影响,反映了社会与教育的现实。
