现代艺术界的兴起是审美现代性问题中一个重要的维度。它随着行为艺术、现成物艺术等后现代艺术的兴起而浮现,并在人们对作品为何能成为艺术品的思考中日益明晰。这意味着当前的艺术研究不再局限于艺术品本身,而扩展至艺术实践所发生的现实语境,它的体制结构及其与艺术家的复杂关系。本书采用跨学科视野,从后分析美学家丹托、迪基的艺术界理论入手,与文化社会学领域的最新成果相结合。
