《日本侵华决策史料丛编》是中日两国学者共同协作,系统整理的日本方面关于侵华决策与大局问题的资料。史料选自日本国会图书馆、外务省外交资料馆、东洋文库、亚洲历史资料中心电子数据库,台湾国史馆、中研院,美国国会图书馆等,以未公开和新发掘资料为重心,侧重于日本最高军政当局之决策与行动。丛编共分编,分别为政治外交、军事战略、社会文化、经济侵略。各册具体采取资料影印加学者解说的方式,由各册编者选取各自专题的资料,分类整理,卷前撰述解说,并在各篇资料前就资料出处、产生背景、主要内容等加以简要说明。
