目前,世界上从女性主义角度对《圣经》文本进行解读的研究尚不多见,大多数致力于《圣经》研究的女性主义学者同时又是神学家,他们对《圣经》的研究多集中在对神学问题的探讨上,且主要针对的文本对象是《新约》,对《旧约》的研究比较零散,针对《创世记》的就更少。尤其在中国,对《圣经》的女性主义研究尚属起步阶段。本书在深入系统地研究女性主义《圣经》阐释的基础上,梳理出《创世记》女性主义批评的思路和线索,评价其成就与不足,开拓了这一领域的研究视野,为国内学术界更加深入的研究西方女性主义提供了具有参考意义的角度和思路。
