“Three Lectures” is a special academic and external publicity platform launched by the China-Africa Institute (CAI) to promote people-to-people exchanges between China and Africa by inviting renowned Chinese and African scholars, Chinese ambassadors to African countries, and African ambassadors to China to give speeches on time-honored China-Africa friendship and partnership. This anthology is a collection of speeches of the “Three Lectures” from 2019 to 2021, covering topics of poverty alleviation in China, China-Africa solidarity against COVID-19 pandemic, African security, China-Africa relations, China-Africa exchanges on governance experiences. Additionally, speeches given by African former heads of state, African diplomats and African prestigious scholars at the 9th Meeting of the China-Africa Think Tanks Forum are also included in this book.

李新烽，管理学博士，作家，二级研究员，中国非洲研究院执行院长、中国社会科学院西亚非洲研究所所长，中国社会科学院大学西亚非洲系主任、博士研究生导师，《西亚非洲》和《中国非洲学刊》杂志主编。国务院政府特殊津贴专家，兼任中国亚非学会会长、国家社科基金和教育部“长江学者”评审专家。主要研究领域为非洲政治和中非关系。在《中国社会科学》《历史研究》《求是》等期刊上发表中英文学术论文20余篇。出版《非洲踏寻郑和路》（中英文版）、《郑和与非洲》（中英阿文版）和《南非土地制度研究》（中国社会科学院文库系列）等多部著作。国家社科基金中国历史研究院重大历史问题研究专项2021年度重大招标项目“非洲通史（多卷本）”（LSYZD21022）首席专家。
