孟广林 ，中国人民大学历史学院教授、博士生导师，中国英国史研究会副会长。主要从事中世纪欧洲政治史、思想文化史与中西历史的比较研究。先后在《中国社会科学》、《历史研究》、《世界历史》、《中国史研究》、《史学理论研究》等重要刊物上发表论文多篇，出版专著、教材、译著多部，曾获省部级科研成果奖、高等教育教学成果奖三项，主持并完成国家社科基金项目、教育部人文社会科学基金项目三项。英国杜伦大学（Durham University）历史学系高级研究学者（2006），美国罗彻斯特大学（University of Rochester）历史学系访问教授（2007）。
