摘要

There are two controversial opinions towards what factor determines relationship satisfaction of intimate partners in recent decades. On the one hand，a growing body of research has been devoted to explaining differences in relationship length and satisfaction between partners in dating and marital relationships （Brown ＆ Kawamura，2010； Liefbroer ＆ Dourleijin，2006）. On the other hand，some family researchers addressed relationship status predicted individuals' satisfaction （Lehmann，Tuinman，Braeken，Vingerhoets，Sanderman，＆ Hagedoorn，2015； Tai，Baxter，and Hewitt，2014）. Therefore，relationship satisfaction is not only related to relationship status，but also to relationship length. They are two powerful，salient factors of influencing relationship satisfaction both in western and in non-western culture.
