摘要
本文简要介绍了公元前5世纪希罗多德的著作《历史》中有关水文学、水力学和水力工程的参考文献：（1）洪水和尼罗河之源；（2）对巴比伦女王尼托克利斯（Nitocris）人工扩张湖泊并改变幼发拉底河河道的问题进行了进一步的讨论和批判性评价。我们的结论是，希罗多德的工作可以被视为技术问题上的一个有价值的来源。
