数字时代的劳动监控:基于四家工厂的案例研究

摘要

随着第四次工业革命的开展,数据的生产、收集、集成和分析成为劳动监控的关键环节。基于对四家工厂的案例研究,本文分析了数字技术的应用对劳动监控的影响。本文发现,智能摄像头、物联网、工业信息管理系统、工业互联网平台等数字技术已经成为资方监控劳动者的新方式,并推动了数字驱动的劳动监控的兴起。本文分析了工厂中的员工活动监控、生产过程监控和算法监控的主要方式,并指出数字驱动的劳动监控呈现三个新的特点:第一,监控过程的自动化程度进一步提高,资方通过生产数据和劳动者个人数据的生成、流通、集成和分析自动化,使得劳动监控更为全面、持续、精准;第二,数字化劳动监控突破了工作场所和劳动过程的范围,使得劳动监控的时空范围进一步扩张;第三,在监控的技术方面,数字化劳动监控的运行关键在于塑造劳动者对数字技术的全能性的想象。但是,一些工人积极通过日常抵抗的方式削弱了数字化劳动监控的有效性。本文认为,在数字化劳动监控快速发展的背景下,应重视对工人数字权利的保护。
