智慧城市技术的战略观:以经济衰退期IBM智慧城市为例

摘要

智慧城市技术可以被认为是企业在经济衰退情况下的战略选择吗?此前大多数对智慧城市的研究多聚焦在特征分析和特定城市环境下的技术系统影响上。同时,多数学者主要研究经济衰退的原因和后果。当前,还没有将经济衰退期的城市技术作为公司战略选择进行实证研究的成果。为弥补这一空白,我们构建了经济衰退的概念性框架,并且以IBM智慧城市倡议对这个框架进行验证。本案例建立在访谈和档案数据基础上,并在两方面做出了贡献。首先,我们从创新和传播这些技术的利益相关者角度而不是使用这项技术的城市角度进行实证检验。其次,提出了对城市技术战略观的独特理论和经验见解。未来研究可以注重创新和传播这些城市技术的信息通信技术组织内部的运作过程和实践。
